Management, Leadership, and Compliance Training for a Manufacturing Company

Problem
The VP of Human Resources determined that the current training approach to compliance, regulatory, and management / leadership training was inconsistent across three global locations. She wanted to develop a standard approach to training to ensure consistency across sites. I was hired as part of an instructional design team to design and develop a blended learning curriculum that addressed this new curriculum.

Solution
I designed and developed a series of e-learning courses that were part of the new curriculum. Course titles included: Performance Management, Hiring Winning Talent, Writing Effective Goals (as part of the performance management process), Employment Laws, Human Resources (HR) Policies, Human Resources (HR) Polices (UK version).

Results and Take Aways
Each course was launched on a rolling basis. No data was available when my contract ended but I’m hopeful that the new standard curriculum resulted in increases in safety practices, compliance with HR policies, and uniformity in conducting tasks such as hiring and performance reviews.
